This service is designed to answer brief, factual questions and for initial research consultation. Examples include addresses/phone numbers, historical facts, quotation sources, and places to search for your topic. We will provide direct answers if possible. In some situations we may suggest sources for patrons to consult.

For complex questions, if you are in the Hampton Roads area, please consider visiting the reference desk at Perry Library or scheduling a consultation with a librarian. We cannot give legal, medical, financial, or tax advice.
